The wish to build something of my own

Ever since I started programming, I have wanted to build a product of my own, and perhaps start a company. I did not yet know what I wanted to make, but the possibility of turning an idea into something people could actually use has always drawn me in.

As I gained development experience and studied the theory in graduate school, I began connecting knowledge that had once felt separate. Building a complete system from scratch made that ambition more tangible: I want to take part in the whole journey from an idea to a working product, bringing technology, real-world needs and my own ideas together.

Turning knowledge into things I can try

For me, understanding a concept includes knowing where it can be applied and being able to connect it with other knowledge when a problem comes up, so I can propose an approach worth testing.

That kind of integration is something I enjoy and do well: finding approaches across different fields, combining existing tools and technologies, and quickly building prototypes or MVPs. I like learning by turning an idea into something we can use, discuss and change, then filling the gaps in my understanding through practice.

Exploring possibilities together

I met my current collaborators during a Web3 internship. We later formed a team to research ideas, with guidance from a mentor as we explored different directions. Looking things up together, exchanging perspectives and running experiments is a process I genuinely enjoy.

Those experiences gradually broadened my perspective beyond technology: how an industry works, how companies cooperate and compete, and how needs, technology and timing come together. I have come to see that product opportunities become clearer through sustained engagement with a field.

I want to keep working with people who share that curiosity, turning research into prototypes and developing those prototypes into products, platforms or services people can use. That is the direction I want to pursue, and what keeps me learning and building experience.
